Alright, so I haven't really dreamt in years besides the infamous 'falling dream'.  Lately I've been working with specific healing stones and essential oils to fix that though, and I think its working! I don't know if it was that I just could never remember my dreams or if it was the insomnia blocking them. I've been an insomniac since middle school... so pretty much for several years now.  My mental state then was pretty terrible, but since leaving that all behind I've done much better.

Anyway so ignoring all that past stuff, I've finally started to dream again! It started off slow the past week with some simple short memories of what I had been dreaming. I dreamt of finding this little "watermelon dinosaur", haha. I know it sounds stupid but it was cute and made me happy for some reason. After that I dreamt I was in a convenience store and actually semi conscious of my dream but not quite lucid. Then I had this really real feeling dream though the other night, I'm pretty sure it was just a full on lucid dream, but I can't help but think that I may have actually astral projected. It was so weird and real feeling! I was outside in my yard and for some reason I was flapping my arms trying to fly... you could only imagine how ridiculous that looked. I was in my human form and just flapping my arms slowly getting higher and higher. I remember I was trying to fly to space for reason. And it wasn't easy, everything was almost moving too slow? Like the harder I flapped it still was taking a really long time. And when I finally got up really high I got worried I would fall and hurt myself, so I carefully concentrated and floated myself back to the ground. It was so weird and I remember it so clearly! I can't help but think though, I get the falling dream a lot... so I wonder if the falling dream comes from a failed astral projection? Like in my dream... maybe if I hadn't taken control I would slammed back into my body like all those other times. I feel like that's what's been happening. Sometimes when I go to bed I'm laying there fully conscious thinking I'm awake and all of a sudden I'll almost "fall" and suddenly jolt and catch myself.  Ahh, its so confusing... I hope I'm typing this remotely understandable. But I did that last time my friend slept over... and I swear I thought I was awake! I did the thing where it felt like I was 'slipping' out of my body and jolted the whole bed! Needless to say I freaked my friend out. I just don't know why this happens so often, I'll wake up being jolted into my body at least 2 a week, sometimes in the same night. I'm just really confused.
